You may have read in the Hook Norton Newsletter that the Norman Matthews Memorial Hall was due to be closed by the Parish Council because it was no longer being used. However, both the PCC and the DCC have agreed that St. Peter's should negotiate to take over the lease.
Negotiations are ongoing for St Peter's Church under the auspices of the PCC and Diocesan Trustees to take a lease on the hall for 10 years.
The Hall is currently used for work with the youth and the elderly of the villages, plus hosting committee meetings.
